Kentuck Knob is located on Kentuck Road (Chalk Hill - Ohiopyle Road), six miles north of U.S. Route 40 (the National Road) in Stewart Township, Fayette County. The home is only seven miles from Fallingwater, another house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Driving directions:

From Fallingwater:
Turn right and go south on 381 for four miles. Turn right onto Kentuck Road at the State Park sign at the south end of Ohiopyle. Follow winding road for one and one half miles. At intersection at top of hill, turn left going toward Chalk Hill. Go three quarters of a mile to Kentuck Knob (on left).

From Downtown Pittsburgh:
Go south on State Route 51 to Uniontown. Go east on U.S. Route 40 to Chalk Hill. Turn left on Chalk Hill / Ohiopyle Road and go six miles to Kentuck Knob on the right. Travel time is approximately 1 hour, 40 minutes.

From East (Harrisburg, Philadelphia, New York City, Boston):
Take Interstate 76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike) to Pennsylvania Donegal Exit 91. Go east on State Route 31 approximately 2 1/2 miles to State Route 381. Turn right and go south on 381 through Ohiopyle. Turn right at the State Park sign across the Meadow Run Bridge at the south end of Ohiopyle. Follow winding road for 1 1/2 miles. At intersection at top of hill, turn left going toward Chalk Hill. Go 3/4 of a mile to Kentuck Knob (on Left).

From South-East (Washington D.C.):
Go west on Interstate 70 to Interstate 68. Go west on 68 to Uniontown Exit. Go west on U.S. Route 40 to Chalk Hill (approx. 25 miles). Turn right on Chalk Hill / Ohiopyle Road and go 6 miles to Kentuck Knob on the right.
